BASQUE LUXURY PRESENTS ‘COEXISTENCE’ AT VILLA SORO IN SAN SEBASTIAN

Basque Luxury presents ‘Coexistence’, a selection of pieces by the renowned Basque artist Alfredo Bikondoa, at The Villa Soro Hotel in San Sebastian. With this tittle pays tribute to the motto of San Sebastian 2016 – European Capital of Culture.
“When I received the proposal of Joanes Mathiuet, director and alma matter of Basque Luxury Magazine, I was taken away and passionate about the idea of a ‘non-exhibition’ of art.
Suddenly everything seduced me: the idea of coexistence, transit, the intimacy of those who seek refuge for body and soul, recollection, silence, absence of presence …
I bet for the minimal presence, for the absolute integrative accompaniment in the host space, with the guests in constant pilgrimage; All in opposition to the pageantry and grandiloquences of the ‘great expositions’, my intention was the opposite.
I have really enjoyed my collaboration with Basque Luxury and Villa Soro Hotel in the framework of San Sebastian 2016-European City of Culture, I hope the guests had a good transit.”
