Infinity is the space of revelation and the source of knowledge. The infinite begins with a brushstroke intensely black, and yet full of light. A brushstroke very material, almost bituminous, and yet perfectly clear, transparent, as the pure emptiness.
A door is opened at the bottom of the canvas or perhaps it is a small pond, a liquid door as an emotional bridge to the mysterious, the essential, to all those questions that have no answer. There’s someone lurking inside the picture. Someone who, while painting, erases his own prints. His work resembles an incantation that investigates and overruns at one time. Painting full of life and mystery, deep silences and cosmic outbursts, but above all an extraordinary sensuality.
This is the way of a master who works the color with the delicacy of the great Venetians and space with the strength of the first expressionists.
